As I'm buying things for my new place, I feel a sense of burden with every decision. There's just so much commitment associated with each purchase, and it's a bit unnerving.
(wow, i'm such a drama queen.)
The thing I fear the most I think is color. I love color and I want it everywhere in my place, but deciding
which colors to use is giving me anxiety. So when I found myself at Target making my first household purchases post-move in, the choices were overwhelming. One item I got particularly hung up on was a wall clock - so many colors and styles! I spent a good amount of time waffling between 3 options, and then sought my parents' opinions. Of course they didn't care (my mom actually said the words, "I don't care."), so in the end I came away with this:
White on white - boring, I know! But in my defense, the only other options were black and neon blue, pink, and green.
